I am a painter currently living and working in the San Francisco Bay Area. The fertile landscape I am surrounded by provides a great source of inspiration for my paintings.
Organic imagery and linework are a dominant theme and focus in my work. I am drawn to its paradox of specificity and infiniteness. I imagine these shapes and objects to reappear in my work over time.
Our man made world has been built upon this imagery, as I see the landscape echoed in the construction and destruction of buildings and towers. I am captivated by this relationship, this song and dance.
