Overview

Westies is a well-loved run club in West Seattle that was in need of an identity system. They had gotten big enough and popular enough that its members wanted branded gear and swag to show off at races and around town.

As a member of the run club, I had a vested interest in setting them up with an identity that really speaks to its core values of approachability, supportiveness, and friendliness.

This was a fun side project and labor of love for me. The wordmark is hand-drawn and inspired by hand-painted signs on old storefronts that gave neighborhoods a welcoming vibe.
