Overview

Westies is a well-loved run club in West Seattle that was in need of an identity system. They had gotten big enough and popular enough that its members wanted branded gear and swag to show off at races and around town.

As a member of the run club, I had a vested interest in setting them up with an identity that really speaks to its core values of approachability, supportiveness, and friendliness.

This was a fun side labor of love for me, and I took inspiration from hand-painted cursive signs that give off a neighborly, welcoming vibe. I hand drew the letterforms for the main wordmark.
